Job Description Accompany Chalice Choir (adult) weekly rehearsal (7:30 Thursdays, September through May)

Provide worship music for each Sunday service (one service at 10:30 A.M.)
Collaborate with the Director of Music to select music for prelude, postlude, communion, and other solo worship music

Accompany instrumental and vocal soloists and small groups as needed
Opportunity for additional income playing for special events, such as funerals and weddingsApplicant Requirements:

  • High level of keyboard skill, with organ proficiency preferred
  • Experience in providing choral and instrumental accompaniment
  • Familiarity with church repertoire in various styles
  • Ability to work effectively with Director of Music and Pastor
  • Willingness to meet the special and changing needs of church services
