Job Description
Responsibilities include:
  • Provide instrumental music for all Sunday worship services (currently one morning service).
  • Provide instrumental music for seasonal/special services (e.g. mid-week Lenten services, Holy Week, Christmas Eve, other services throughout the year).
  • Provide music for weddings and funerals based on availability (compensation for these services is in addition to weekly salary).
  • Provide accompaniment for special musical groups and soloists.
  • Participate in planning of worship services in conjunction with the Pastor and Worship and Music Committee.
Qualifications:
  • A degree in music (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with service playing and accompanying is desirable.
  • A desire to work with church leaders toward the furtherance of the worship life of the congregation.
